Baby Doll & Jack stones are two favorite toys I really enjoy playing with in my childhood. The people that supported me in plays was my older siblings, my mom, and dad they would always come out and support us and the children in the neighborhood. I can remember my parents and the other parents coming out playing with us in a softball game  it was the parents against the children this was really fun. Play today is alot different then when I was a child. Kids was no expose to alot of things so we made play creative and fun, now kids have access to computers, video games, and much more so that are not as creative as we was we enjoy going outside playing with our friends now kids don" t really do that anymore. i really hope that our kids would get back to the basic of real play and enjoy being creative will playing and having fun at the same time.

  1. It is amazing how certain toys from our childhood can make time stop and perpell us back in time to being that young child playing with that toy. I had a baby doll too that went with me everywhere I went. Having the support system of your family to encourage you to play and use your imagination is great thing. Great Post!

  2. One of my favorite toys as a child was a doll too. I agree that play today is alot different than it use to be. I remember being outside a lot as a child. My parents lived on a farm and there was always things to be done on it. I was always encouraged to be outside. I take my preschoolers outside now at school and if it's above 75 degrees they are complaining about it being hot and they want to go in. It is really amazing to me to see children that do not like to play outside. Computers, tv, and video games have taken over creative play.
